During the spring of 2017, Nia Prater and David Jordan worked on a three-month, research-intensive reporting project on the Congressional Review Act and its recent revival in Congress under the Trump administration.
The CRA allowed Republicans to overturn Obama-era rules that affected areas ranging from the environment to labor to education. At the end of it all, Congress repealed 14 regulatory rules, wielding a serious blow to Obama's legislative legacy.
