Benassi has never had the coronavirus. Army Chief of Staff Gen. James McConville said in a statement that there was no connection between the virus and his forces.

The idea that the coronavirus originated in the U.S. has been pushed by the Chinese Communist Party in an effort to shift blame for the spread of the coronavirus away from China.

It is very unlikely that COVID-19 will spread through food or food packaging. There is currently no evidence of such transmission.

“If you are concerned about contamination of food or food packaging, wash your hands after handling food packaging, after removing food from the packaging, before you prepare food for eating and before you eat.”

In fact, Hart Island has served as New York City’s public burial ground for over 150 years. The majority of people buried there are unidentified or did not have a next of kin to oversee funeral arrangements.

The cemetery is private, and managed by the Department of Corrections.
