Gulnaz Saiyed

Gulnaz Saiyed graduates with her master’s degree from Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism in June 2012. She’s a 2008 graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans, with a degree in English and Women’s Studies. As a Medill student, she is concentrating on magazine publishing. She has covered education and innovation in learning as well as national security. For two years prior to enrolling at Medill, she taught eighth grade English/Language Arts in Texas’ Rio Grande Valley with Teach for America. She spent summer 2011 as a News21 fellow at Northwestern.
