Protesters urge Trump to halt Turkish military advance

WASHINGTON — Kurdish-led protesters gathered outside the White House to demand President Trump stop a Turkish military advance into Northeast Syria, an area secured by Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces. The rally was hosted a day after Trump ordered the Pentagon to withdraw U.S. forces from the region.
