Marine Veteran Makes New Discoveries Through Storytelling

WASHINGTON – Tammy Hineline, a Marine Corps veteran, shared her kayaking experience with her father at Sunday’s storytelling graduation show. The show followed a seven-week storytelling class organized by the Armed Services Arts Partnership (ASAP), a non-profit dedicated to cultivating community and growth with veterans through the arts. Hineline said programs like this have helped her rediscover who she was after she left the military.
