The Medill National Security Journalism Initiative invites journalists who cover the military or defense issues to participate in the first annual National Security Journalism Conference scheduled for June 23 thru June 24, 2011, in Washington, DC.
The conference will include panel presentations and a Pentagon briefing with top military and defense industry experts to prepare journalists covering the military, the defense industry and national security issues for the stories of today and those of tomorrow.
Participates will receive a $300 stipend to defray travel costs ($200 if you are within 200 miles of Washington); lodging will be provided for the night of June 23 at the Morrison Clark Inn, the site of the conference. Program details| Apply to attend
