In addition to the Medill web site, the student work was just published by the European Union Institute for Security Studies following peer review and editing by the Brussels-based think tank’s editors.
“For these stories to be published by such a prestigious organization, after such rigorous vetting, is an incredible source of pride for all involved,” said Medill Assistant Prof. Bill Handy, who co-led the student project with Tim McNulty, co-director of the Medill National Security Journalism Initiative.
Earlier, the student’s stories were published by the National Strategy Forum, a Chicago-based research institute that examines issues and trends affecting US national strategy and security. (PDF version)
