Utah Privacy Advocates Protest at NSA Data Center

Bakery Trainee Program for Disabled Vets in DC
A local baker and Jesuit priest is opening a bakery in D.C. that aims to teach disabled veterans and their spouses how to run a business while providing baked goods to the neighborhood. The program will teach them the ins and outs of the bakery’s operations during the day, while they take business classes at night. Father Rick Curry has also been a longtime advocate for the disabled community in D.C.. He plans to recruit trainees for Dog Tag Bakery from the Walter Reed Medical Center and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Full story from the Washingtonian Magazine.
Wyoming Veterans to get new ‘v’ on driver’s licenses
The state of Wyoming passed a law that will add a veterans designation to driver’s licenses, in an effort to prevent fraud and make it easier for veterans to enjoy benefits. With the new law, which went into effect this month, Wyoming joins the majority of the country — an estimated 35 states have similar legislation. Trevor Brown of the Wyoming Tribune Eagle reports.
